KUALA LUMPUR: The excitement of taking part in something that’s been the talk of town for years during this time of the year is what keeps ECM Libra coming back for more.

"Stories, both humorous and uplifting, of fellow colleagues and peers from other companies going crazy in the streets of KL make for a very interesting event to be a part of," says executive Christopher Tock, who will be running for the first time.

Tock, who is one of ECM Libra’s five team leaders, thinks the Race is an amazing event that fosters both personal and inter-departmental relationships that is difficult to maintain within the office.

It also encourages individuals and corporations to support charitable events.

"What’s more, the community benefits directly through the money collected which will be channelled to these charitable causes," Tock adds.

Regardless of how he and his teammates fare, Tock feels that by just participating they would have contributed positively to the event.
