The Company has, on 25 November 2013, announced that it had on the same day submitted an application to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") for a waiver from having to submit a regularisation plan in respect of its PN17 status ("Waiver Application"). The Waiver Application, if approved, will allow ECMLFG to be uplifted from the classification as a PN17 Company.

The Waiver Application is under consideration by Bursa Securities.
