The Company wishes to announce that it has received notice pursuant to paragraph 14.08(a) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad dated 27 August 2013 from Mr Soo Kim Wai ("Mr Soo"), a Director of the Company, that Amcorp Group Berhad ("AMCORP") and/or its subsidiaries intend to deal in the securities of ECM during the closed period pending the announcement by the Company of its financial results for the second quarter ended 31 July 2013. AMCORP is a substantial shareholder of ECM and a company in which Mr Soo is a director.

As at the date of the notice, Mr Soo does not have any interest, direct or indirect, in ECM.
