Concurrently, and in line with the Bank’s long-term succession planning, Shahin Jammal, currently the Deputy Head of Investment Banking Division, is now promoted to Deputy CEO of the Bank. Shahin Jammal holds a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Economics from the London School of Economics.

Martin Chu will continue as the Chief Operating Officer. Martin holds a Masters Degree in Management Science and a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from the Imperial College, University of London. He was formerly the Deputy CEO, Group Management Services of EON Bank Berhad.

The Board of Directors of the Bank is confident that the succession plan, with its emphasis on continuity, will provide a stable platform for the sustained growth of the Bank. The Board is also confident that the complementary skills and cohesiveness of the three-man team will enable the institution to enhance its proven capability in adding value to its clients and exceeding their expectations.
