Standard Financial Planner (SFP) and ECM Libra Investment Bank have entered into a strategic partnership to broaden their product and service offerings to clients. The partnership is the first between a financial advisory group and an investment bank in Malaysia. ECM Libra believes that its partnership with SFP, a one-stop financial supermarket and an alternative distribution channel, will enable it to leverage on the latter’s professionalism and distribution network to reach out to more Malaysian clients. The investment bank added that the tie up will allow both parties to focus and provide expertise in their respective areas, which will eventually lead to lower costs and benefits to the clients.
