HONG KONG: Deputy Prime Minister
Datuk Seri Najib Razak has invited four chief executive officers of
companies to accompany him during a meeting with Hong Kong fund managers
and captains of industry tomorrow.
Najib, who will be heading a high-powered government delegation
to Hong Kong to promote Malaysia as an investment hub, will arrive
here today.
He will be accompanied by, among others, Second Finance Minister
Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop, Bank Negara Assistant Governor Lillian
Leong Bee Lian, Securities Commission executive director (issues
and investment) Datuk Kris Azman Abdullah and Khazanah Nasional
Bhd managing director Datuk Azman Mokhtar.

Datuk Seri Kalimullah Hassan said the four CEOs are Genting Bhd
chairman Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, AirAsia chief executive officer Datuk
Tony Fernandes, Boustead Holdings Group managing director Tan Sri
Lodin Wok Kamaruddin and Sapura Group president and chief executive
Datuk Seri Shahril Shamsuddin.
"Their companies are a showcase of outstanding success. This,
probably, is one of the reasons why they were chosen to accompany
the Deputy Prime Minister in his discussion with the fund managers,"
Kalimullah said.
ECM Libra and Credit Suisse are the organisers of the three-day
investment road show.
