Unless otherwise stated, all definitions and terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as defined in the announcement dated 31 May 2022 in relation to the conditional mandatory take-over offer by Dato' Lim Kian Onn through Mercury Securities Sdn Bhd ("Offer").

We refer to the announcement in relation to the Offer dated 31 May 2022.

In accordance with Paragraph 3.06 of the Rules on Take-overs, Mergers and Compulsory Acquisitions issued by the Securities Commission Malaysia ("SC"), the Board of Directors (other than the interested directors) wishes to announce that DWA Advisory Sdn Bhd has been appointed to act as an Independent Adviser to advise the non-interested directors and shareholders of ECMLG, and provide its comments, opinions, information and recommendation on the Offer. The appointment is subject to the clearance of eligibility of the Independent Adviser by the SC.
