The Board of Directors of ECM Libra Group Berhad ("ECM Libra") refers to the article entitled "Engtek Group eyes re-listing, hires RHB, HLIB for the job" published in The Edge Malaysia on 2 May 2022.

ECM Libra wishes to clarify that ECM Libra holds a 8.1% effective stake in TYK Capital Sdn Bhd ("TYK Capital") which in turn holds the operating assets of the TYK Capital group of companies (the “Business"). ECM Libra - through its 30% owned associate Positive Carry Sdn Bhd - and the management of TYK Capital have been evaluating various options to enhance value and maximize returns for its stakeholders, including a potential listing of the Business. There is currently no decision made as to whether a potential listing will occur. ECM Libra will make further announcement(s) as appropriate should there be any material developments which warrant disclosure, in accordance with the relevant regulations.
