The late Dato' Othman is an accountant by profession with extensive financial knowledge and skills. He began his career in 1977 as Treasury Accountant at the Accountant General's Department and held various positions in the Department. He was seconded to Sabah Electricity Board as Deputy General Manager (Finance) from 1987 to 1993 and subsequently was transferred back to the Department and was appointed as Accountant General of Malaysia from 2003 to 2005. |
