Reference is made to ECMLFG's announcements on 4 May 2017, 21 June 2017, 3 July 2017, 8 August 2017, 30 August 2017, 26 October 2017, 21 November 2017, 24 November 2017, 27 November 2017, 12 December 2017, 21 December 2017, 21 March 2018, 13 April 2018 and 3 May 2018 in relation to the Proposals ("Announcements"). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcements shall apply herein.

Pursuant to Paragraph 6.62(1) of the Listing Requirements, the Company is required to complete the allotment and issuance of the Consideration Shares within 6 months from the date the listing application was approved by Bursa Securities. Bursa Securities granted its approval for the listing application on 20 November 2017, which was announced on 21 November 2017.

On behalf of the Board, CIMB wishes to announce that an application to seek an extension of time for the allotment and issuance of the Consideration Shares has been submitted to Bursa Securities today.
