David Chua Ming Huat, a member of the Board of Trustee of the Foundation is currently the President of Star Cruises. He possesses extensive experience in investment banking and securities dealing, accumulating this – alongside a strong network of corporate relationships and a large institutional investor base – through work in Malaysia and Hong Kong over the past two decades. His years with international houses such as Merrill Lynch, First Pacific and Jardine Flemming have seen him lead numerous capital market transactions in the region, often dealing with the world’s most aggressive and influential funds. Prior to co-founding ECM Libra, David served as Group Managing Director/CEO of HLG Capital, and was also responsible for the investment banking business of the Hong Leong Financial Services Group.
