The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales ("ICAEW") is the largest professional accountancy body in Europe, with over 124,000 members. Partnering with the ECM Libra Group to enhance the accountancy profession by providing practical training opportunities, the ICAEW accredited ECM Libra Group in August 2004 as an Authorized Training Organization for students pursuing the chartered accountancy qualification in Malaysia.

The ECM Libra ICAEW Training Program is a work-and-study program offering students the opportunity to gain practical training and work experience while acquiring theoretical and academic knowledge for the ACA accountancy qualification from an ICAEW-approved college in Kuala Lumpur. Successful applicants are placed in selected divisions within the ECM Libra Group and provided a monthly salary and paid study leave. Tuition and first-time examination fees would be borne by the Group and the trainee student's progress would be closely monitored by appointed mentors in the organization.

Upon passing all requisite examinations, the successful candidate would be permitted to pursue a career of their choice, which may include permanent employment within the ECM Libra Group.
